Product Patterns

Pattern 1

This pattern was created for a ligature project during my Typography class. After choosing a letter, I created many iterations in which I cropped out different elements to see how the form was affected. I chose the most visually interesting iterations and tried making patterns with them.

Color Palette:

I used a gray and red color scheme to push the futuristic "gamer" aesthetic present in the pattern.

Primary: Very Dark Gray (C=0, M=0, Y=0, K=100) Tint: 95

Secondary: Dark Red (Pantone 7427 PCS)

Tertiary: Dark Gray (Pantone Black 3 U)

Pattern 2

This pattern was created during my Design Applications class as part of my Third Eye dystopian augmented reality brand. The repeating element is a lens/aperture signifying surveillance or recording footage.

Color Palette:

This duo-tone color palette uses a dark red and blue to invoke a false sense of trust while also alluding towards the danger of the company.

Primary: Dark Blue (Pantone 2210 PCS)

Secondary: Dark Red (Pantone 7427 PCS)

Color Palette:

This pattern’s color palette is four different intensities of the primary purple color. I used purple as the base color because I wanted to push the fancy aesthetic already present in the pattern’s shapes and curves.

Primary: Dark Purple (Pantone 2613 C)

Secondary: Purple (Pantone 2613 C) Tint: 70%

Tertiary: Light Purple (Pantone 2613 C) Tint: 30%

Accent: Very Light Purple (Pantone 2613 C) Tint: 8%

Pattern 4

I created this pattern during my Portfolio class by cropping different word-marks I had created for my personal logo. I found that when cropped in this way, the word-mark looked like an array of connected drones.

To match the futuristic aesthetic, I used a palette with a blue, and different grays similar to that of skyscrapers.

Primary: Dark Gray (Pantone Black 3 U)

Secondary: Blue (Pantone 646 U)

Accent: Gray (Pantone 5507 U)
