Technical Drawings

AR Glasses

This is a technical drawing for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Each ephemera item is "created" with an alternate purpose, usually with the intention of stealing user information.

"The staple of Third Eye’s empire, Augmented Reality Glasses. While available for free, these glasses don’t gain access to its plethora of features until the yearly subscription has started.

Before the service has been activated, the glasses will still record and upload user data."

Night Light

This is a technical drawing for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Each ephemera item is "created" with an alternate purpose, usually with the intention of stealing user information.

"While often mistaken for a simple Night Light, these Night Lights have the secret ability to connect to your personal WiFi network without permission.

Once a connection has been established, the unit uploads 24 hour surveillance footage taken from the center camera for everyone but you to see."

Retractable Pen

This is a technical drawing for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Each ephemera item is "created" with an alternate purpose, usually with the intention of stealing user information.

"Third Eye’s one and only retractable pen can be found in every employee office in any of their locations. The pen has the ability to log it’s motion on any surface. Effectively allowing digital writing on paper; except this data is for Third Eye’s eyes only.

If you haven’t already received a Third Eye Retractable Pen, talk to any Third Eye representative, they will be happy to give you one!"

Headphones

"Open Back Headphones have been sharing audio with everyone in the room since their inception.

Third Eye has stepped it up even further allowing anyone to tune into the headphones no matter the proximity."

Analog Watch

This is a technical drawing for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Each ephemera item is "created" with an alternate purpose, usually with the intention of stealing user information.

"The stylish modern design fits in with the watches of the present. While the analog watch is considered a relic in the world of holographic smart watches, the hope is to corner the market of non current tech users.

Once cornered, the watch will record their audio logs and location data, for profit!"

Wireless Earbuds

This is a technical drawing for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Each ephemera item is "created" with an alternate purpose, usually with the intention of stealing user information.

"Similar to the Open Back Headphones, the Wireless Earbuds have the ability to broadcast audio to any willing listener. Luckily, Third Eye is always a willing listener."

People - Scale Items

The triangulated people were the first thing I worked on for my "Third Eye" dystopian augmented reality company. Right away I started developing the triangulated pattern that would follow across many designs for the Third Eye brand.

For both of the people, I tested different variants of the triangulated texture to see what worked best.

I decided on the final (right) styles for drawings, but opted for dark gray or white triangulations for print and web media.

Trees - Scale Items

The left tree were created from scratch by creating different colored triangles and arranging them in a way that looked like a tree. While not containing the level of detail as the tree to its right, this tree’s simplicity allows for more strenuous usage.

For the tree to the right I tried creating the triangulated texture on top of an image of a low poly tree. The image gave me the silhouette I was looking for and the texture of the triangulations worked to add a level of detail similar to a low poly tree.
